Parts and Equipment Runner

Position Summary

This position involves many different responsibilities that keep each day interesting. This position is best for someone who is flexible and works well independently. Pick up and deliver parts, materials or other requested items to various job, office, shop and vendor locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and clean-up around shop and yard
  • Help mechanics when needed
  • Parts running
  • Deliver supplies to job sites
  • Deliver small equipment and attachments to job sites
  • Load and unload equipment and supplies from bobcat rigs
  • Wash equipment when needed
  • Pump water if needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Punctual timing and reliable attendance
  • Strong attention to detail and self-driven
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Other

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Must be able to work 8-10-hour workdays, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends. Must be flexible regarding work hours including possible out of town work
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those employees encountered while performing the essential functions of this job. Employee is exposed to environmental conditions, working near machines and loud noises associated with construction sites. Exposed to variable weather conditions including rain, snow, wind, cold and heat.
